Digital product build
Watched on TV
Turning a printed reference book into a living online platform.
Watched on TV is the digital evolution of the original book: a searchable, easier-to-update online resource designed to help people explore content far more easily than they could with a static printed format.

The challenge was not simply to “put a book on a website”. It was to create something more useful than print alone: easier to search, easier to expand, easier to keep current, and more engaging for the people using it.
How I approached it
I designed and built the platform to feel like an evolving product rather than a fixed archive. That meant prioritising discoverability, content structure, usability, and an architecture that could keep growing without needing to be rethought every time new material or features were added.
What was delivered
- Transformed the original book into a searchable website that makes it easier to find specific programmes and related information.
- Built the platform around ongoing content updates so the resource can stay useful instead of drifting out of date like a static publication.
- Focused on clarity and usability so visitors can browse and discover content without friction.
- Structured the platform for long-term scalability so new entries and features can be added without creating rework.
- Continue to iterate on the platform so it evolves alongside the content and the audience using it.
What this improved
- A wider-reaching digital resource instead of a fixed-format publication.
- A simpler way to keep the content current over time.
- A more interactive experience that can keep improving as the platform grows.
Why it matters
This project shows the product side of Luckyfox as well: taking an idea with an existing audience and designing the technical foundation needed to turn it into an adaptable online platform.
